Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel was spacious and equipped with everything we needed but had poor natural light looking directly into a close multi-storey car park. The service was incredible and very helpful, although we had to bring a DVD player for the TV. The location was unbeatable, within walking distance to many local attractions, including Fed Square and the Botanical Gardens. The dining had some tasty selections but was not great value for money on a public holiday.
As soon as we arrived around 8 am, I found the hotel to be wonderfully comfortable, quiet, and well-equipped. The rooms were spacious, sophisticated, calm, and relaxing, although being backed onto at 3 am was a bit unsettling. The service was a perfect blend of polite efficiency and genuine friendliness, with the staff taking the time to chat with us by the warm fire. The location couldn't have been better, near the main shopping precinct, sporting grounds, and trams, making it incredibly convenient for our short CBD stay. The dining experience had its highs and lows, with an excellent bar for cocktails but slightly underwhelming toast at breakfast. Overall, a fantastic stay with just a few minor hiccups.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were lovely and comfy, with a great location. The staff was friendly, and the service was top-notch. However, there were some minor issues with the promised welcome amenity not arriving. The location was perfect for both business appointments and exploring the city, with easy access to many attractions. The dining was generous, but slightly pricey. Overall, a great experience.
